The Carson Mansion in Eureka, the most elaborate Victorian era house, and the most photographed house, in the United States, if not in the entire world. It was built by William Carson, a local lumber magnate, and completed in 1885. The Ingomar Club has owned the house since 1950.

The Milton Carson House (aka the "Pink Lady"), in Eureka. Across the street from the Carson Mansion, it's another grand Victorian, built by William Carson for his son.
